Arts & Crafts events at #Phizzfest2025

Learn to paint with watercolours, with Ignacio Molina

We are delighted to add water-colour painting classes to our activities at Phizzfest Community and Family Day by the Canal.

The class will be given by Ignacio Molina for budding artists of all ages.

Classes will take place at 2pm for an hour and, subject to demand, again at 3.30pm

Classes are limited 20 persons – preference will be given to persons who book in advance online.

Outdoor Knit Along

The Knitting Room and Phizzfest Stitchers invite you to bring along your current knitting or crochet project and join us for an outdoor ‘craft in the community’ event. All levels welcome.

Art Workshop – Beginner Art Class

Artist Mariana Castillo will guide participants in a mixed class using different paper and stone techniques across different themes. Join Mariana in a dynamic and fun workshop where you’ll learn techniques to create your own masterpiece. No experience is necessary!

Ikebana Workshops : Workshop 2

Experience the beauty of Ikebana, Japanese ancient floral art, in a hands-on workshop led by Tomoko Sempo Yanagi, Professor of Ikenobo Ikebana. Explore its history, techniques and philosophy while creating stunning floral arrangements that embody balance, minimalism, and mindfulness.  Flowers and foliage supplied.

Crafternoon with Ann-Marie Costello

Sew, stitch, felt, draw, paint or make your version of the Phizzfest logo. All materials provided, just bring your creativity. Logos may then be entered into a competition to win a €100 voucher for Crafty Studio.
